Finca Dinamia
South of Mendoza city and the Uco Valley there is a rare and pure microclimate for wine growing and wine production. Nested at the foot of the Andes Mountains, the Finca Dinamia is a small paradise combining all the tradition of a three-generations winemaking family and a biodynamic vision. “We believe in quality and purity, not only in winemaking but in all aspects of life”, says Alejandro Bianchi, owner of Finca Dinamia and grandson of Don Valentin Bianchi, one of the “Founding Fathers” of Argentine wine.

The Finca Dinamia produces Demeter certified Malbec, harvested from the 34 acres of organic biodynamic vineyard. “At Finca Dinamia we have the highest respect for the land and for the fruits. Our agricultural techniques are oriented towards the protection of the soil, the biodiversity and the natural fertility”, adds Alejandro Bianchi.

The result of this work is the Buenalma Rosé and the Buenalma Malbec, two clear expressions of the San Rafael region.

Alejandro works in his land with winemaker Fabricio Orlando, who is part of the project since 2008. They both work in the vineyard and in the biodynamic preparations to be used throughout the year.

Alejandro Bianchi says that he started the journey into full organic and biodynamic agriculture in 2001. Following years of hard work and thorough phases, the vineyard became fully organic in 2005. It was in 2006 that Alejandro began the full engagement with biodynamic agriculture, and the study of the method of organic farming originally developed by Austrian philosopher Rudolph Steiner. Three years later, in 2009, the Finca Dinamia received the biodynamic certification by Demeter.
